We Have Successfully Completed the Circular Economy and Resource Efficiency Platform Project

The Circular Economy and Resource Efficiency Platform Project, launched in 2022 in partnership with BCSD Türkiye and the Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ISO)—two major institutions driving transformation in Turkish business—was officially concluded on Monday, August 14.

The project aimed to enhance resource efficiency and circularity within the value chains of the textile, plastics, and white goods sectors in Istanbul’s industrial landscape.
Within the project’s scope, companies received one-on-one analyses, consultancy, and training services on key topics such as circular economy, resource efficiency in value chains, sustainability, and clean production, all aligned with the EU Green Deal.

At the closing event—attended by representatives from the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change and the Ministry of Trade—Mete Plastik was honored with a Certificate of Appreciation, marking yet another milestone in its sustainability journey.
